Julie Soudaz, member of the Paris Bar

Fifteen years of experience in corporate and commercial law, gained in law firms and in the legal departments of international groups.

Background and experience

A member of the Paris Bar since 2010, Julie Soudaz practises mainly in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and commercial law.

She holds a Master II in business law (Juriste européen track) from Université Paris X Nanterre, and an LL.M. in business law from Queen Mary University of London.

Over the course of her career, she has worked both in law firms and in the legal departments of major international groups. This dual experience has given her a practical understanding of how businesses operate and of the issues their executives and legal teams face.

Today she advises her clients on sales and acquisitions, restructuring projects, the organisation of relations between shareholders and, more broadly, on their business law matters.

A pragmatic, personal approach

Her in-house experience allows her to approach legal questions with the operational realities and economic objectives of her clients in mind.

Committed to close client relationships, Julie Soudaz favours direct, personal support, built on listening, availability and the search for solutions suited to each situation.

An international practice

With her training in both French and common law and her experience with international groups, Julie Soudaz also advises clients on transactions with an international dimension.

She works in French and in English, in particular on mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations and dealings with foreign counterparts.
